Tarot Storytelling. The lost Knight.

The Lost Knight

Tarot Storytelling
Sonnet by Federico Berti

Dedicated to Nicole,
Thanks to Tarot Interpratations

He wandered the four corners of the world
Still drunk for all the cups he greedily drank
More than a warship he did board and sank
More than a mouth his name eagerly called

And when no conquer could improve his rank
Thrown all the arrows could be never whorled
He found a helmet with a plume gold curled
He felt his loneliness a tangled hank

No longer hunger would devour his liver
No greed for knowledge would inflame his mind
No nymph could ran across his back a shiver

Undressed his heavy steel hand forged rind
The roaming lily lay nearby the river
and tiny roots grew up sinewy and twined

Minuscole radici crebbero robuste e aggrovigliate.
